I understand that the range of wimax is much greater than standard wireless, but are wimax networks actually available (I live in Chicago), or do I have to create my own network. Is it something that people will deliver in the future, or are they available now?... Read More »

Intel supposedly has two mini-PCIE WiMAX-capable wifi modules for notebooks: 5150 and 5350. I may eventually replace the 5100 wifi module in my notebook with 5150. However, I cannot find 5150 anywhere, and can only find 5350, which requires 3 antennas. Is 5150 discontinued?... Read More »
